This section lists MENTAL HEALTH organizations and services which have special services for times of pandemics, disasters and related emergencies. 

 

This is NOT a comprehensive listing of all the other types of organizations and services that might be found elsewhere during a disaster, e.g. Red Cross, WHO, etc., but is more focused on mental health services.

CHEO is a pediatric hospital that provides various mental health services to children, youth and families up to age 16-18. more
Special Services During Pandemics (e.g. COVID/Corona), Disasters and Related Emergencies
During COVID, mental health services at CHEO have changed. Outpatient services are still being offered VIRTUALLY, i.e. via telephone, or via videoconferencing (i.e. Ontario Telemedicine Network or Zoom). Inpatient services are significantly more restricted and thus only available for the most severe psychiatric emergencies.
