Red Oak Psychotherapy was born from a need for increased mental health services and access to psychoeducational assessments within the Ottawa area.

We offer individual counselling services to youth (ages 10+) and adults. Our practice specializes in working with anxiety and depression, questions and considerations regarding sexual orientation and/or gender identity, grief, and challenges within interpersonal relationships.

Thank you for considering us in your search for a therapist. It is our belief that the most meaningful therapy is grounded in the safety and fit of the client-therapist relationship. As such, we strive to maintain a practice that is authentic, transparent, and honouring of the courage it takes to arrive in therapy.

Our approach is integrative and often draws from both person-centred and narrative methodologies, which allows the therapeutic process to be tailored to your specific needs. We strive to create a warm and inclusive space that fosters collaboration, discussion, and self-exploration.

We wish to engage you in co-creating an environment that invites a sense of empowerment, in sharing your stories, and the exploring of new considerations through self-compassion. It would be our privilege and pleasure to accompany you along your therapeutic journey.
