Green, Monika - Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), Registered Psychotherapist, M.Ed
Monika Green Counselling and Psychotherapy Services
Private practice (individual)
I provide counselling and psychotherapy services designed to enhance the mental health and well-being of children and families. Childhood can be a difficult and stressful time, and can put a strain on family relationships. I help children and caregivers to better understand their struggles and work through them in a supportive therapeutic relationship.

I'm experienced at providing counselling and psychotherapy services to children and youth who struggle with various concerns, including: social skills and peer relationships, family relationships, aggressive behaviours, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, attachment concerns, psychological diagnoses and learning disabilities

By improving a child's ability to cope with stresses and challenges, therapy can decrease challenging and undesirable behaviors. My approach to counselling and psychotherapy is grounded in Child Centered Play Therapy but incorporates a variety of well-researched and validated approaches based on the child and family's needs.

The office is a cozy, warm and welcoming environment for children and families. My playroom includes a variety of therapeutic toys, and children enjoy the playful and supportive atmosphere where they can blossom to their potential.
