Clinical Diagnoses, Assessments and Therapy for Children, Adolescents and Adults with Neurodiversity, including: Tourette's Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD: Level 1-Asperger), Anxiety/Stress, OCD, Depression, Learning Disabilities & Giftedness. We provide recommendations for academic accommodations for learning and neurodifferences (e.g. additional time, quiet test spaces, revised exam schedules, alternative format tests, notetakers, pre review of course materials) from elementary to graduate school levels, and support for entrance exams (SAT, GRE, MCAT, LSAT and GMAT). Our therapists are highly experienced in neurodiversity across the lifespan, and offer support and strategies to adults feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, and discouraged with academics, careers or relationships, We provide guidance and practical strategies for exploring vocational options, alternative plans of study or making career changes. Childhood to adult age ASD and ADHD assessments (+ mental health, psychoeducational and gifted screening) in addition to therapy, to gain a better understanding of you or your child's neurodiverse strengths and individual needs, in addition to psychoeducation and support for neurotypical partners (e.g. Cassandra syndrome), couples therapy, ADHD/academic coaching, mindfulness training, stress and anxiety reduction, social skill development and depression.
Special Services During Pandemics (e.g. COVID/Corona), Disasters and Related Emergencies
All staff and clinicians onsite are fully vaccinated. In response to individual health needs and concerns regarding COVID19, we offer video or telephone therapy sessions in addition to in person office appointments. We continue follow a modified COVID-19 protocol, comprehensive contact lists, strict hand washing and sterilization of all surfaces and equipment between patients, availability of hand sanitizer throughout the clinic, safe distance seating areas, outdoor waiting area seating, private washroom, and masks/face shields available on site. We also have a HEPA Filter in our clinic.
