Chatterjee, Tanaya - Psychologist, Psy.D., C.Psych
Insight Toronto Psychological Services
Private practice (individual)
I specialize in evidence-based treatment of complex emotional and behavioural problems in adults. I work with individuals presenting with anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, major depressive disorders, personality disorders, complex trauma, shame, emotion regulation, grief, and other relational difficulties. I also provide comprehensive psychodiagnostic assessment and treatment for third parties for individuals primarily with anxiety or mood disorders in response to work-related traumatic events.

My clinical orientation is rooted in cognitive-behavioural theories. I integrate other empirically supported methods like DBT, Emotion-Focused and Compassion-Focused to help reduce and manage symptomatic behaviours and increase overall functioning. I have a special interest in working with individuals from racialized groups and LGBTQ communities.
Special Services During Pandemics (e.g. COVID/Corona), Disasters and Related Emergencies
I am currently offering only telepsychology sessions during the COVID-19 pandemic. I use a secure online therapy platform that is Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) compliant.
