This free training includes guest presentations in the morning and Overdose Prevention and Intervention Training courtesy of Preventing Overdose Waterloo Wellington (POWW) in the afternoon.


In The Mind’s Eye 2012: Issues of Substance Use in Film + Forum is a unique series presented by the Waterloo Region Crime Prevention Council in October and November. More than 8,000 people have attended this free series since it’s inception in 2005. Films featured from North America and beyond, provide a rare and real glimpse into the world of substance use. Post-film discussion, workshops and training are guaranteed to bring you new insight into the real issues.
