Active Minds @ York University
Active Minds is a nonprofit organization dedicated to utilizing the student voice to change the conversation about mental health on college campuses. Headquartered in Washington, DC, the focus is to develop and support chapters of student-run mental health awareness groups on campuses across North America. The York U chapter of Active Minds is a rapidly growing network of students who are passionate about building a supportive and healthy community on our campus. Our newly designed website is gives you an inside look at the variety of ways you can get involved with our club through tablings, events, member meetings, as well as ways you can change the conversation about mental health. amyork.ca website will also offer resources that can assist any student who is coping with mental health issues on campus, articles from our Research Executives and tips on healthy active living that you can use in your everyday life.
