Operational Stress Injury Social Support Program (OSISS) |
A peer-based support network to support Canadian Forces, Veterans and their families. Created in 2001, OSISS stemmed from a discussion in a waiting area at a clinic, between two injured Canadian Forces personnel. Recognizing the benefits of sharing in experiences, OSISS was established as a partnership between the Department of National Defence and Veterans Affairs Canada.
