Therapy is an opportunity to start conversations about personal and interpersonal growth. In taking a step on this quest to seek healthier relationships with ourselves and those that surround us, we become aware of the thoughts, emotions, behaviours, narratives and contexts that no longer serve us or negatively impact our journeys. We seek to facilitate our trek by changing unhelpful habits and conditions to try to improve our individual and collective functioning. With the support of a therapist, we collaborate to identify and work toward meaningful objectives while keeping the height of our potential in sight.

As a therapist, I seek to collaborate with my clients to have meaningful and enriching conversations that may lead to significant changes. I try to guide them in their pursuits in ways that work best for them. Sometimes, just talking can help them move along. In some cases, I invite my clients to activate behaviourally, engage in exposure, experiential, or mindful activities or to self-reflect. Even play can help people overcome obstacles and reach new summits.

If you’re seeking to be supported and accompanied in your trek toward self-improvement, your journey can be guided by a counsellor and/or psychotherapist. Make an appointment with a mental health professional today. You may benefit from a helping hand!
