Child and Youth Friendly Ottawa (CAYFO)
CAYFO aims to build youth capacity and celebrate youth achievement. Programming is based on a ‘for youth by youth’ philosophy where programs are created and grown by young people and supported by adults. The youth involved are provided with mentorship, an opportunity to advance their skills and equal partnership, which enhances their own abilities and the community at large. Programs include The Ottawa Youth Commission and For Youth By Youth (FYBY) News, Spirit of the Capital Youth Awards, National Child's Day as well as many other partnerships throughout the city.
