Mental health professionals can improve their skills in assessing trauma through this 10-day course on the assessment and treatment of trauma in children and youth developed by Geraldine Crisci, a world-renowned trauma clinician and trainer.
This Trauma Focused Certificate Training course will teach:
• Why and how to ask about trauma
• How to work with families
• Interview protocols that help keep clients safe and connected and that are developmentally appropriate
• How a good assessment leads to effective and focused treatment plans that include measurable goals
Intensive monitored practice of 5-10 trauma cases will be available following the training (at a separate cost at $100/hour) and is required for certification.
Dates: Feb 14 & 15, Mar 28 & 29, Apr 18 & 19, May 16 & 17, Jun 13 & 14, 2023
Time: 9:00am - 3:30pm EST
Cost: $1,999 (+ $100/hour monitored practice hourly rate)
All sessions will be recorded and available until September 14, 2023.
