Konomi, Yuki - Psychologist, Psy.D., C. Psych.
Private practice (individual)
Dr. Konomi offers psychological assessments for a variety of purposes (vocational, diagnostic, treatment-planning, disability related, and forensic) and treatments for adult (age 16+) individuals and couples. She has helped many people with various life challenges. With her forensic background, she is also well experienced with providing psychological services to those on the “both sides of the bars” (i.e. police officers, people with criminal charges, etc.)

Dr. Konomi’s treatment is tailored to each patient’s needs. She is trained in a variety of psychological intervention modalities, including cognitive-beahavioural, solution-focused, existential, Adlerian, and psychodynamic. With Dr. Konomi’s non-judgmental, friendly, and compassionate approach, patients can feel comfortable to freely discuss their source of distress that are often hard to talk about. She is also well known for her easygoing communication style with a good sense of humor, which makes many younger patients and those who are “doctored-out” feel at ease in the treatment room. Many patients who start out the session with tears come out of it with big smiles at the end!

Dr. Konomi is fluent in English and Japanese.
