You can’t change what happened, but you can change what is happening in you.

You deserve to wake up feeling hopeful, energized, and at peace. Therapy is about achieving lasting change that improves your quality of life now and in the future. You may be looking for someone to talk to, but more importantly, you are looking for someone who can help you achieve change. Whether you are experiencing high levels of stress, emotional burnout, anxiety, or want to optimize how you are feeling, the way forward is through change. My approach is empathetic while being goal-oriented. I am not here to sugar-coat it, but I will work with you to help you achieve whatever life changes you are looking to make. My goal is to help you gain insight and strategies that will help you experience life and relationships in a new way. Mental wellbeing is not just about overcoming crisis, it is foundational to overall health and fulfilment.

My focus is to support you in implementing changes to improve your quality of life by using scientifically researched and validated interventions. I believe that knowledge is power. My goal is to help you gain an understanding of why you are feeling the way you are and more importantly what you can do to improve your mental health. I specialize in helping you overcome current life challenges and past events that are holding you back from experiencing relationships and life fully. As a trained trauma professional, I have seen the impact that adverse events can have on our mental wellbeing.

I am particularly interested in looking at how nutrition can be used to improve mood and brain health, and how to reconstruct neural pathways disrupted by stress and trauma. I look at incorporating treatments that offer a long-term solution. This includes an integrative approach that incorporates principles of neuroscience, physiology, and psychology.
