Event Description

For all health care and helping professionals! Learn the Four Steps to Protect Yourself from Compassion Fatigue and Vicarious Trauma.

The difficult stories and experiences you hear on a regular basis will have an impact on you. It is so important for you to learn how to keep yourself healthy while you do this great work.

Learn how to recognize the impact of empathy and practice strategies to keep yourself grounded while hearing about and seeing difficult client experiences.

You will be able to recognized where you land on the Compassion Fatigue Trajectory and then create a plan that will work for you.

This will be a very interactive day filled with self-care strategies (including lunch time yoga) and a chance to win a self-care basket door prize - so far it contains a free initial consultation with a Naturopathic Doctor, a Nutritionist and a Reiki practitioner - and I'm not done filling it!
