Event Description

This seminar will focus on sex offenders and victims. It will include information about motivations and techniques of different types of sex offenders, as well as on the methods they use to deceive people and how to recognize deception.
In addition to information on adult male sex offenders, it will also address adolescent sex offenders and female sex offenders. The impact of pornography, specifically child pornography, will be considered along with information about the extent to which child pornographers are likely to be pedophiles, themselves and to molest children.
Finally, this workshop will talk about the impact of sexual abuse on victims both in their childhood and as adults.
