Event DescriptionYou are invited to a free public information session on October 3, 2012 on Anxiety Disorders, presented by Sunnybrook’s Frederick W. Thompson Anxiety Disorders Centre. The event will be moderated by Dr. Peggy Richter, and topics of discussion will include:
* Anxiety disorders: what are they, and how are they treated? Dr. Nik Grujich
* How to overcome anxious thinking with CBT. Dr. Neil Rector
* When mood and anxiety co-exist: New thinking, new guidelines. Dr. Ayal Schaffer
* Growing up anxious: Anxiety in children & teens. Dr. Gili Adler Nevo
Both events will be held at Sunnybrook (2075 Bayview Avenue, Toronto) in the McLaughlin Auditorium, E-wing, Ground floor. Admission is free, and free parking in Garage 1 will also be provided.
