John Howard Society of Sudbury
An organization of citizens who accept responsibility for understanding and dealing with the problems of crime and the criminal justice system. Services are offered to persons currently, previously or at risk of becoming in conflict with the law, and their families. These services now include working with men in correctional facilities (federal, provincial, and local) with people in community correctional programs, with young people in conflict with the law both in custody and in the community and, most recently, with people defined as being at risk of involvement in criminal activity. Some programs may be fee-based.

RECONCILIATION BETWEEN VICTIMS AND OFFENDERS
Program/Service of : John Howard Society of Sudbury
Reconciliation between victim and offender where both parties are willing to undergo a group conference to discuss the offence, the effects of the offence on the victim and appropriate consequences for the offender.
