Case 1 Dave is a 17-year-old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). He has never liked the fact that his parents set limits on his video games, and as a result, says he will move out so that “then no one will tell me what to do.” Unfortunately, he is not yet capable of managing money nor does he have the skills necessary to live on his own. When younger, he would occasionally run away and police would bring him back.
