The Mission of the Self-Help Resource Centre of Greater Toronto is to promote self-help/mutual aid. The goals of the organization are to increase awareness about self-help/mutual aid in the community and among helping professionals, and to facilitate the growth and development of self-help groups, networks and resources.Although they focus on Toronto and Ontario resources, their website also has a useful list of self-help centres across the country that would help one find local self-help groups anywhere in the country, which is located here:http://www.selfhelp.on.ca/canadian.html
