The Music Therapy Association of Manitoba, Inc. strives to promote excellence in the field of music therapy in Manitoba through advocacy, connection, and support. Our mission is to foster community engagement with, and access to, music therapy, facilitate connections between music therapists, and promote opportunities for professional development. Association activities are conducted in accordance with the Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT) Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice

Clients may go through the association directory and select an accredited music therapist who specializes in mental health. The music therapy professional is not a person who diagnoses mental health issues according to the DSM, but who can provide treatments that will augment other mental health treatments when co-applied.
