We are a community of people with lived experience of adoption that strengthens and empowers parents to achieve permanency for children so that they reach their full potential.
Joining the A4L Community is free and allows you to connect with other adoptive parents through our confidential Parent2Parent support network which includes in-person support, advocacy, buddy/mentor matching, online social communities and support groups.
Who can join? Anyone touched by adoption, including those contemplating adoption or in the process to adopt, adoptees, foster parents, birth parents, adoption professionals and adoptive parents including public, private, international, kin, customary care and moral adoption

Parent2Parent Support Network - Group or individualized support to parents and youth * individualized support includes developing transition plans during the adoption journey, such as at placement, attending school, joining a new community, through a divorce or during the addition of a new sibling * advocacy with Children's Aid Society (CAS), school or mental health services * local and cultural representative
