- CE credits are 6 for the day (CPA)
- The seating is limited to 60 seats – Ticket deadline is Thursday, June 1

Recommended Attendees
Evidence-Based Interventions for Hoarding Disorder Workshop introduces participants to foundational knowledge of anxiety-based disorders and general experience with cognitive-behavioural interventions. The workshop is targeted toward mental health professionals who are dealing with clients who struggle with hoarding disorder.

Workshop Overview
- Provide an overview of hoarding disorder (DSM-5 criteria), prevalence and demographics, and associated features
- Cover the complicating factors associated with a hoarding disorder
- Learn the assessment tools that can be applied
- Discuss treatment outcome research (Roots in ERP for OCD, specialized CBT for hoarding (individual), group-based CBT, and outcome of medication trials)
- Learn the elements of treatment using the cognitive-behavioural model

Learning objectives
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

- Differentiate hoarding disorder from collecting behaviour and from squalor
- Conduct a thorough assessment of the major features of hoarding disorder
- Collaboratively develop a treatment plan
- Evaluate progress toward treatment goals
- Describe specialized cognitive-behavioural strategies for addressing problems related to hoarding, and
- Generate ideas for addressing challenges that commonly arise during treatment for hoarding
