Event Description

Is your child struggling in school? Has your teen been working hard to get into university but just not making the grade? Learning Disabilities and ADHD remain two of the most commonly under-recognized issues that prevent children and adolescents from achieving their full potential. Please join us on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 as child psychiatrist Dr. Doron Almagor and pediatric neuropsychologist Dr. Brenda Miles discuss current brain-based treatments to improve brain function, leverage neuroplasticity and boost performance in children and teens with learning disabilities and ADHD. The evening will provide parents, educators and workers in the field with a unique opportunity to hear expert opinions, learn about diagnosis techniques and participate in a question and answer session.

Free for parents, caregivers, teachers and professionals who work with children and teens with learning disabilities and ADHD. The learning disabilities and ADHD talk will be held at the University of Toronto’s George Ignatieff Theatre, 15 Devonshire Place near Bloor & Bedford Avenue
