Event DescriptionThe Mindfulness Based Resilience Program aims to help parents and caregivers develop effective stress management strategies. This 6-week program consists of psychoeducation, guided meditations, group reflection and discussions. Participants will learn a variety of formal and informal mindfulness practices to help focus their attention, reduce stress, and better connect with the present moment. The regular practice of mindfulness will allow participants to become more flexible in the way they relate to daily stressors, increase self-acceptance, and approach difficult situations with more compassion and resilience.
